What is an Apostille?
An Apostille is a French word meaning “certification”. An Apostille is a document which has been authenticated or legalized allowing the use of the document abroad. The Apostille is issued by the Secretary of State in which the document originated. Please see Basics of Apostilles for additional information.
What State Apostille Do You Handle?
We currently focus on Tennessee Apostille and Legalizations, but are expanding our services to other states. Contact us to see if we can assist you and handle your Apostille needs. We will need the state of origin as well as the country of destination.
Waiting Fee
We charge a waiting fee if our Notary Public Agent is kept waiting at the agreed upon location of our appointment for more than 10 minutes past our agreed upon time for the signer(s) or witness(es) to be available for any reason including waiting for them to have their acceptable forms of IDs or completed documents. The fee is $1 per minute of wait time past the initial 10 minutes.
How do FBI Background Check Apostilles work?
Federal background checks include searches for criminal offenses prosecuted through U.S. federal courts. … With a federal job background check, a prospective employer can collect any records held by the federal criminal courts, including all case documents.
What are the main steps of this process?
Once you have the document, you can forward the document right to TN Notary & Professional Services by email. If it comes with a Password please make sure to include it in your Order.
We will then process the Background Check. Our Washington, DC colleague will hand carry the document(s) to the Department of State Office of Authentications.
Once completed, the document will be shipped to you at the address provided on the Order Form.

Our base rate is $150 with expedited services and overnight shipping available.

What's included in Apostille Services?
Apostille services include:
1. In-person notarization of documents
2. Hand-delivery of documents to the Davidson County Clerk Office for certification
3. Hand-delivery of documents and certifications to Tennessee Secretary of State
4. Final mailing of documents, certifications and apostilles with USPS First Class Mail tracking to abroad country
Where Will You Meet With Me?
We can meet at our office located at 1133 Polk Avenue Nashville, TN 37210 by appointment only or we can offer mobile service where we come to you. We are available most times with a 4-hour minimum notice 7 days a week from 9am-5pm.
Additional Mobile Fee
We will never price gouge you and never want to charge these additional fees. However, we must steward our time as well as our other clients, and must charge for our time. To prevent these additional fees, plan on being prompt and having all documents complete and ensure that all signers have correct forms of IDs.
Trip Fee
If the signers are not willing to sign or lack at least one acceptable form of ID, or if they can’t have enough of a conversation with me to make it clear that they are signing freely and willingly, your travel fee is non-refundable.
